TV Man
is an interactive piece that spoofs TV culture (such as it
is). There are three channels. A Commercial Channel that
advertises an unspecified "New and Improved" product, a
ponderous Educational Channel that features Theodore Roosevelt on CD and a
News Channel with a talking head in a proverbial can of worms.
Lack of space precluded a sports (organized pointlessness) channel.
All contained in a mindless consciousness-consuming maw. The sexual titillation
is represented by the tube boobs that control the on-off and channel
selector. There is also a high voltage Jacob's Ladder
"antenna" that goes of at regular intervals. Lots of other
contrived symbolisms can be deduced from the image.
