Wishful Thinking is a piece I did for a fundraising event – Neighbor 2 Neighbor 1st Annual Chair-ity Event – in Coos Bay, Ore. where I live. The idea was that artists decorated chairs, hence, chair-ity,  to be auctioned off to benefit a mediation center. The event theme was "Imagine: Peace" – note the peace symbol eyes. The crank by the arm of the chair turns the skeleton umbrella. Seven turns for each rotation. I added a couple of companion pieces (the mobile and the kiddy chair with the manikin) from left over parts and stuff I had around the house. Both chairs were donated by friends.
