Mouse Door 1Mouse Door
Late one night we heard a scratching sound inside the wall in our hallway.  The next morning we could still hear the sound and decided to rescue whatever was trapped inside the wall.  I cut a piece of drywall out between the studs where the scratching was coming from and a tiny deer mouse ran into a  jar that I had placed over the hole.   After freeing the mouse, I found about two dozen mouse bodies in various states of decay at the bottom of the wall.  Figuring that there would most likely be more mice to be rescued in the future and wanting to avoid dry wall patching , I put in this mouse door.  It has a working door knob and hinges.   Naturally, there have been no more uninvited guests inside the wall since.
